Primark’s Chief Operating Officer, Paul Marchant, has overall responsibility for ensuring that our ethical trading policy is fully implemented. He is supported by Katharine Kirk, Ethical Trade Director, and the Directors of Buying.
Ethical trade is a permanent agenda item at Primark Board meetings, where the COO reports on progress.
Reporting to the Ethical Trade Director, day-to-day management of ethical issues is driven by our UK-based ethical trade team, working closely with our growing network of regionally-based ethical trade managers.
